Wordless Wednesday- April 23

I'm linking up again with Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday.

It's testing week, and this is my quiet, calm room during my 50 minute prep.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job, but I also love the little break I get in the afternoon.

Do you ever just sit and relax during prep (and not actually get work done)?  How do you spend your prep period?  Tell me about it in the comments below!

Until next time,
- Miss Woodward

  1. Sometimes all I can do is sit and enjoy the quiet during my prep...but usually I grade, plan, or make copies womp womp.

    1. Some days, I'm SUPER productive! Other days, I chat with people and get nothing done...

  2. I almost always clean up around the room, answer emails, or even do some of my own coursework!

    1. Lately, I've been the same way! The peace and quiet has been nice this week with all of the testing.

  4. Now that I teach first, I'm always working. But in previous years, I spent more time socializing and keeping other people from working than anything else :-)

    1. Me too! I have a few good friends working at the same school as me, so I always like to pop my head in to their rooms to see what they're up to. :)

  5. My time is at the end of the day and most of the time I grade, plan, write IEPs or do some other work but some days, like today, I read all the teacher blogs looking for great ideas! And I am never disappointed!

    1. Read other blogs during prep? I am SO glad I am not the only one! :)

  6. My prep periods are hardly ever prep, they turn into chatting with my grade partner or other teachers. Although we do get ideas out it isn't what I had planned to do then.
